Our Worship

We offer a traditional service in our sanctuary and a contemporary service in our Family LIfe Center. We live-stream our contemporary service for people who are unable to join us in person. We hope that you will join us in worshipping Jesus together.
Online Services

We live-stream our 11am service for people who are homebound, unable to attend church, or on vacation. If you join us, please make sure to drop a note in the chat so that we know you are worshipping with us!

Traditional Worship

Our Traditional Worship Service begins at 8:45 am in the Sanctuary each Sunday and lasts about one hour. Together we glorify God through liturgy and music. Our choir leads the singing and typically sings the call to worship and the offertory. Our preaching team is lead by our senior pastor, but also includes retired clergy from our congregation. The sermon is the same at both the traditional and the contemporary service. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month.

This service may feel relatively formal but it is not stuffy. The choir wears robes and the organ allows us to lift our voices fully to God. We use simple projection but also use hymnals, pew Bibles, and bulletins with an order of service. People may dress up for this service but it is not required: it is our hope that you will mostly see smiling, friendly faces to welcome you.

Children are always welcome in the service. Nursery care is provided and children are invited forward for a children’s sermon.

We desire to be a community that gathers together primarily to worship God together and to be changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  We pray that our services are one way for you to be connected to God and connected to one another.

Contemporary Worship

Our Contemporary Worship Service begins at 11am and is held in the Family Life Center. It typically lasts 75 minutes. The praise band leads us in singing together in praise of Jesus: we gather to participate in honoring God together. Our preaching team is lead by our senior pastor, but also includes retired clergy from our congregation. The sermon is typically the same at both the traditional and the contemporary service. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month. We make an effort to connect to our heritage by including some traditional elements: singing a hymn or reciting the Apostle’s creed.

You can expect a more informal feeling to this service. We vary our stage design throughout the year and we use visuals to enhance our worship. You will see people in dressy clothes and others in jeans. Above all, we hope that you will see smiling and welcoming faces.

Children are always welcome in the service. Children age 3 through 2nd grade are dismissed around 11:15 to ROCK (Reaching Out to Christ’s Kids). Nursery care is available.

We strive to create an environment where anyone will feel welcome and all will be encouraged to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We pray that our services are one way for you to be connected to God and connected to one another.
